305 GETTING A WALKING LEAD FROM THIRD BASE

The player that can master the walking lead off can score on a ground ball hit in the infield, especially with two outs.

1. Take your lead off approximately the same distance that the third baseman is away from the bag. Position yourself on the outside of the third base foul line.
2. Walk down the line slowly do not run, keeping your eyes on the pitcher.
3. Time the play so your right foot will be coming down, as the batter makes contact.
